The Connecticut State Archives are located at 75 Van Block Avenue in Hartford. Directions to the facility from the majore highways are below, but when you get to the facility, these are some tips. Turn right into the gated driveway, push the intercom button and let security know you are there to volunteer. Park on the left and the back door is by the ramp. Security typically Is watching to let you into the door, but if not, just hit the intercom by the door. Take the door on the right to enter the room.
From 84E – Take exit 52 and follow signs for 91S. Take exit 29A toward the Capital Area. Use the right lane to take the Columbus Blvd. ramp. At the light, turn Left onto Columbus Blvd. and follow for 0.9 miles. Turn Left onto Charter Oak Ave. At the stop sign at Huyshope, bear right. Take your first right onto Nepaquash St. Follow that around the corner and down the street. You will see “Do Not Enter” signs, apply during drop-off and pick-up for school.
