The Donna Holt Siemiatkoski Acquisition Fund was established in memory of the first CPGC president. Donna was a nationally-recognized specialist in the families of ancient Windsor, Connecticut, and the Connecticut River Valley. She was also the founding President of the Descendants of the Founders of Ancient Windsor and a past Regent of the Abigail Wolcott Ellsworth Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The fund continues as a lasting tribute to Donna’s memory and her work and carries a 501 (c) 3 designation.
Contributions are made to the fund by individual donors and through CPGC fundraising efforts. CPGC conducts Ancestor Road Shows to raise money for the fund.
The fund gives annual awards of genealogy publications to Connecticut genealogical repositories.
Unless otherwise noted, each recipient was awarded $1000 in books.
