November Meeting

The outing to see the FamilySearch operation was so much fun that genealogists have asked for an encore visit! This time, we will be hosted by Allen Ramsey, Assistant Archivist for the State of Connecticut, as we visit with some of the archival records that are stored at Connecticut State Library’s off-site storage facility.

Registration is required, as we need to provide a head count.  All who register will receive an email with directions before the visit. For the potluck, the conference room at Van Block has outlets so we can plug in crock-pots, etc. Jen will bring paper goods and Rosemary will bring bottled water. Please bring whatever you would like to share.

Rosemary will be sending out the regular notice with the agenda, minutes, and attachments closer to Tuesday. Jen will send out directions to attendees on Monday.

We hope to see many members there. If you have never attended a CPGC meeting before, we would love to meet you. Please feel free to come and if you don’t have something to bring, please just bring yourself. It’s a rare treat to visit the archives and we don’t want anyone to miss out!
