The Jones Girls: Discovering a Relationship Using Indirect Evidence
This is a presentation of a case study which connects a woman with her parents in 19th century Connecticut. Her maiden name is known, as it is on her gravestone, but unfortunately that name is “Jones.” No document names her parents. By investigating potential parental couples, studying their known children, and identifying those children’s interactions with our target person, we will weave her back into her family.
